Locked Inside
Marnie has secluded herself from anyone and everyone that she could even be close to. She spends most of her time playing a computer game; especially with a particular character named Elf. They grow a respect for each other. Marnie's mother Skye was killed in an airplane crash five years ago. Marnie can't let anyone close to her just like her mother. Marnie is later kidnapped, and she has to learn some things about herself as well as secrets about her mother.
Locked Inside was written by Nancy Werlin It was written in 2000. Nancy Werlin did a very good job writing about Marnie's character and the dangers of secluding yourself from others. Not allowing people to get to know the person inside. I really did enjoy this book. It was suspenseful and enjoyable.
